theconnector is a commuter shuttle bus service connecting King of Prussia business park employees to SEPTA Regional Rail at the Norristown Transportation Center and Wayne Station M-F during the AM and PM rush hours. The comfortable 14-passenger shuttles have free Wi-Fi, bicycle racks and are ADA compliant.

All Arkema employees that wish to continue utilizing the service will need to get on/off at any of the other designated locations. Additionally, Arkema employees will need to pay $2 per ride.

Tickets:

 

Tickets can be purchased online*, at the KOP-BID Office (234 Mall Blvd., King of Prussia), GVF Office (1012 W. 8th Ave., King of Prussia) or on theconnector shuttle. Tickets are priced at a reduced rate for employees and tenants of the below participating companies. One ticket is required per ride.

*Tickets purchased online will be mailed to the address provided during your PayPal transaction. Please include your shipping address during checkout. Allow for 3-5 business days for shipping. Only Ten Pack tickets are sold online. Single tickets may be purchased at the KOP-BID or GVF office and on theconnector. All ticket purchases are final sale. No refunds will be provided. Tickets do not have an expiration date.

HOW IS THECONNECTOR FUNDED?

In 2012, KOP-BID was awarded a $500,000 three-year CMAQ Grant by the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC). The grant provides partially funded the commuter shuttle through June 2016. Currently, theconnector is funded by a number of King of Prussia companies. In addition, the King of Prussia District provides annual support, and raises additional revenue through ticket sales and advertising.

What is theconnector?

theconnector is a commuter shuttle service, created by the King of Prussia District (KOP-BID), that transports employees from SEPTA’s Norristown Transportation Center and Wayne Regional Rail station to the businesses in and around the King of Prussia business park. The shuttles have Wi-Fi, bicycle racks and are ADA compliant.

Where DOES it go?

Two shuttles, one each route, travel to/from SEPTA’s Norristown Transportation Center and SEPTA’s Wayne Station and the King of Prussia business park. The shuttles run during the AM and PM rush hours and stop at large offices and employment centers within and near the business park.

How much DOES it cost?

Ticket prices are $1 per ride for employees and tenants of participating corporate partners (see above list). Employees and tenants of non-participating companies pay $2 per ride. Multi-ride packs of ten (10) are also available.
